GRAVTY® enables point transfer through two core functions:

  • Tip-In: Members bring points into your program from a partner brand, boosting balance and increasing their engagement with your ecosystem.
  • Tip-Out: Members send points from your program to a partner brand, offering them broader redemption options.

Each participating program maintains its own rewards catalog, member tiers, earn-and-burn rules, and liability protections. GRAVTY® ensures these exchanges follow a transparent exchange rate (e.g., 2 points from a retail program convert into 1 airline mile).

GRAVTY® Models for Point Transfer Across Programs

1. API Based Direct Transfer

Members initiate each transfer by manually entering their partner program ID. GRAVTY® validates the ID via a secure API call to the partner, calculates the configured exchange rate, and credits or debits points accordingly.

An enhanced variant where the member’s partner ID is saved after the first use, removing the need for repeated entry. GRAVTY® stores the ID securely using its Vertical Entity feature for all future transfers.

3. OAuth-Based Token Validation & Transfer

Members authenticate directly with the partner program via OAuth, eliminating the need for manual ID entry. GRAVTY® receives a secure token, fetches member details, and validates identity before processing the transaction.

4. Batch-Based Points Transfer

A scheduled, file-based method used when API integration is not available or real-time execution is unnecessary. Requests are collected over a defined window and processed in batches.
