JMB Crystal status starts at 30,000 FLY ON Points and maps to Oneworld Ruby, so Titanium Elite and Ambassador Elite members clear the starter alliance tier on the strength of the link alone. JMB Sapphire, which maps to Oneworld Sapphire, requires 50,000 FLY ON Points. Accounts link on the Marriott website and the points post to Mileage Bank immediately, though status can take up to six weeks to appear. LoyaltyLobby reports that a promotion deposits domestic JAL Sakura Lounge coupons into Mileage Bank accounts that receive the required FLY ON Points from the link, which helps travelers on domestic JAL flights who lack the status for lounge access. Such partnerships extend status and lounge access across hotel and airline programs.
